With šnaps for friends we preserve orchards and the family tradition with a small production of fruit brandy with the next generation. šnaps is the family hand-made fruit brandy made from old apple, pear, plum, and quince varieties from natural orchards which has been distilled for three decades in its second generation. Purely organic and without sugar, distilled in a copper kettle, first in the orchard and later in the shed. With so much passion and love for nature and its origins. The fruit brandy is filled in used old bottles.
The fruit trees are between 10, 20 and 70 years old. A total of 532 trees have been planted by us and the past generation over the last 70 years. Distilling fruit brandies has a long tradition and helps preserve old orchards that are important for biodiversity. The meadow forms a natural habitat for bees and insects. Now is the time for the next generation to keep them alive. šnaps is based on the German word "schnaps" for fruit brands, written with the Slavic "š".
Every year, there are only a few limited bottles of šnaps for friends.
#1 Biodiversität im ruralen Raum mit Obstgärten und familiärer Destillation von šnaps für Freunde
Mit šnaps for friends erhalten wir unsere Obstgärten und die Familientradition mit einer kleinen Obstbrandproduktion in der nächsten Generation. šnaps ist der handwerklich hergestellte Familienobstbrand aus alten Apfel-, Birnen-, Pflaumen- und Quittensorten von naturbelassenen Streuobstwiesen, der seit drei Jahrzehnten in zweiter Generation gebrannt wird. Rein biologisch und ohne Zucker, destilliert in einem Kupferkessel, zuerst im Obstgarten und später in der Scheune. Mit viel Leidenschaft und Liebe zur Natur und ihren Ursprüngen. Der Obstbrand wird in alten, gebrauchten Flaschen abgefüllt. Die Obstbäume sind zwischen 10, 20 und 70 Jahre alt. Insgesamt wurden in den letzten 70 Jahren 532 Bäume von uns und den vergangenen Generationen gepflanzt. Das Brennen von Obstbränden hat eine lange Tradition und trägt dazu bei, alte Streuobstwiesen zu erhalten, die für die Artenvielfalt wichtig sind. Die Wiese bildet einen natürlichen Lebensraum für Bienen und Insekten. Jetzt ist es an der Zeit, dass die nächste Generation sie am Leben erhält. šnaps basiert auf dem deutschen Wort "schnaps" für Obstmarken, das mit dem slawischen "š" geschrieben wird. Jedes Jahr gibt es nur eine begrenzte Anzahl von Flaschen šnaps für Freunde.
