urban life - "The Power of Wild Urban Plants"
The šnapshots are an invitation to city walks with a view of the wild urban plant world. They sprout longingly from every crack, no matter how small, and unite naturally with urban life. There is a surprising variety of wild plants to discover. The warm urban climate attracts many wild plants for which the climate in the surrounding countryside is too harsh.
What is fascinating is their art of surviving and their willpower to be part of the city. The wild plants bring greenery into the city. Between wall and pavement, between paving stones, in cracks in walls and in many other places where we don't expect them. The walks are an invitation to urban deceleration, to discover, perceive and enjoy nature and the little wilderness in the city.
In recent years, I have been involved in trend and future research as well as the megatrends of new urbanization and neo-ecology. I am fascinated by the unexpected biodiversity in the city and observing people's longing for closeness to nature and simple living. Impressed by the discovery of the small urban wilderness, these šnapshots were taken and invite you to linger and create an urban wild plant documentary.

Die šnapshots sind eine Einladung zu Stadtspaziergängen mit Blick auf die urbane Wildpflanzenwelt. Sie sprießen sehnsüchtig aus jeder noch so kleinen Ritze und vereinen sich auf natürliche Weise mit dem städtischen Leben. Es gibt eine überraschende Vielfalt an Wildpflanzen zu entdecken. Das warme Stadtklima lockt viele Wildpflanzen an, denen das Klima im Umland zu rau ist.
Faszinierend ist ihre Überlebenskunst und ihre Willenskraft, Teil der Stadt zu sein. Die Wildpflanzen bringen Grün in die Stadt. Zwischen Mauer und Bürgersteig, zwischen Pflastersteinen, in Mauerritzen und an vielen anderen Stellen, wo wir sie nicht erwarten. Die Stadtspaziergänge sind eine Einladung zur urbanen Entschleunigung, zum Entdecken, Wahrnehmen und Genießen der Natur und der kleinen Wildnis in der Stadt.
In den letzten Jahren habe ich mich mit Trend- und Zukunftsforschung sowie mit den Megatrends neue Urbanisierung und Neo-Ökologie beschäftigt. Mich fasziniert die unerwartete Artenvielfalt in der Stadt und die Beobachtung der Sehnsucht der Menschen nach Naturnähe und einfachem Leben. Beeindruckt von der Entdeckung der kleinen urbanen Wildnis sind diese Schnappschüsse entstanden und laden zum Verweilen ein und stellen eine urbane Wildpflanzen-Dokumentation dar.
